The TLV340x is Texas Instruments’ first family ofnanopower comparators with only 470 nA perchannel supply current, which make this deviceideal for battery power and wireless handsetapplications.

The TLV340x has a minimum operating supplyvoltage of 2.7 V over the extended industrialtemperature range (TA = –40°C to 125°C), whilehaving an input common-mode range of –0.1 toVCC + 5 V.

The low supply current makes it an idealchoice for battery powered portable applicationswhere quiescent current is the primary concern.Reverse battery protection guards the amplifierfrom an over-current condition due to improperbattery installation.

For harsh environments, theinputs can be taken 5 V above the positive supplyrail without damage to the device.
